Simply Grace Headbands

Hello Everyone. As you know I am obsessed with  making headbands. I have decided I would start making them to sell. I have created a facebook and instagram account where I will sell them only on there via paypal. I have a giveaway going on right now so please follow me on both Instagram and Facebook and enter the giveaway! There are quite a few places that sale headbands out there and most of them are crazy expensive. I want to try to keep mine on the cheaper side. 2-10 dollars each depending on the headband!

I am really trying to get the word out about my new shop so please go like my page on facebook page here and tell all your friends. Don't forget to enter the giveaway!

Fabric flower 4

Easy fabric flower tutorial.

So it has been quite a while since I have blogged and I will try to do better I promise. I was looking through my most popular posts and my flower tutorials were the most popular so I decided I would do another tutorial. This one is so easy and took me like 10 minutes to put together including cutting.

Step 1: cut out circles. I cut out about 16. The fastest way is to fold your fabric in half then in half again so you are cutting out 4 circles at once.

Step 2 once you have your circles cut out take a circle and fold it in half 3 times. (Like the picture below) and cut like a tear drop shape (like the photo below) that way it will make some pedals. The pedals don't need to be perfect. You can also cut these 2 or 3 at a time so it goes faster.

Step 3. Take one of your flowers and fols it in half so the pedals are off set. ( like the photo below.)

Step 4: OK after it is folded in half roll the pedal (like the photo below) and put a dot of hot glue at the end so it doesn't come apart.

Step 5: once you have all your pedals rolled and glued. Cut out a felt circle for the back and start hot gluing your pedals around in a circle right next to each other (see photo below)

Step 6: after you have your first row glue on glue another row on top of the first one. Glue the top ones in the spaces between the first row to make it look more full. Then place an embellishment in the middle and your done.

Please feel free to ask questions or comments or whatever I would love to hear from you;)
